Compagnie de Provence was founded in Marseille by Pascal Bourelly and Philipe Boigeol in 1990. The company strives to promote and modernise the emblematic Marseille cube soap which has bought fame and pride to it's city since the 17th Century.
In 2000, Compagnie de Provence launched the first modern version of the traditional Marseille soap - made in a cauldron with vegetable oils and presented in a pump bottle with its recognised stamp, in response to a demand for natural basic products. Compagnie de Provence has grown to offer an impressive range of products for hands, body and home.
Provence is a land of contrasts. The elements meet in excessive conditions: the Mistral winds blow, washing the skies of clouds. The turbulence then subsides and the lazy sun renders a state of calm. The graphic contrasts are capture into the design and original style of these products.
